South West, Andover Area news
Andover April News
on Valentines Day, with 9 present, 8 of us eating and 3
'Proper' cars - well, Stag, Jag & MG!
We didn't manage to sort out a list of roaming meets trying
out new venues so will try to do that over the next couple of
meets and will publish the dates and locations when we have
them, but will stick with the Chalkhill until then. It's quite easy
to get to, being just off the A303, tasty and reasonably priced
food and a good sized car park.
We joined Newbury Area at the Downgate in Hungerford
again in February and had another good evening, although
the whale-sized fish and chip portions had slimmed down to
shark-sized. Another good quiz set by Mary, it's amazing how
difficult it can be to recognise a wheelie bin.
Just starting to get into the show season with the Easter
Monday Spring Vehicle meet and then the Isle of Wight weekend,
SEM, Beaulieu and the Triumph New Forest run all coming
up in early May.
